Warner Brothers has released the first teaser for the next film from Lee Cronin, director of Evil Dead Rise.

There’s no description available from Warner Brothers regarding The Mummy, but director Cronin did leave a cryptic message about the film in Morse Code:

The translation of the message reads:

“IN ANCIENT EGYPTIAN CIVILIZATION, DARK SPIRITS AND VISIONS OF THE DEAD WERE NEVER AN ILLUSION. SOME THAT PASSED OVER WERE GONE FOREVER, BUT AN UNLUCKY FEW WERE CONSUMED BY A DARKNESS FAR MORE EVIL THAN ANYONE COULD HAVE EVER IMAGINED.

TODAY IT BEGINS.”

Lee Cronin’s The Mummy comes to theaters April 17, 2026.
