The Rundown: The Opposition reveals itself and the Rasputin’s deploy their deadliest weapon yet.
In the aftermath of the attack on the Opposition base and the death of Omega Red, Piotr and Ilyana are seeing their rule devolve as people begin to revolt against the regime in larger numbers. In order to stop their brother and end his Opposition group, they decide to deploy a new weapon that will take out the entire group at once.
Logan hears from Creed who is on the run and the two discuss the ramifications of exposing their group to the world as the ER weapon tracks them down giving Logan only minutes to find a way to stop it. Unfortunately, it might already be too late.
The Story: Condon creates some intense moments throughout the story and I love the buildup of suspense especially with Logan and Victor discussing their concerns while those concerns are playing out around them. The story grows to an intense chase that leaves on a cliffhanger that makes me excited to see what happens next.
The Art: Cappuccio creates some beautifully detailed and visually intense art throughout the issue. I love the style of this issue and how the art is bold, dark and compelling.
