The Rundown: Peter takes on Kingpin as the truth is finally revealed to the world.

Peter and Mary Jane discover that Otto has allowed their son to go on a dangerous mission to infiltrate the Kingpin’s base and his most secure vault. As Ben and Jonah release the first part of their story to the world, Spider-Man swings into action as Richard and Felicia find themselves facing off against some formidable security.

Li pays a visit to Fisk to tell him that he knows as his secrets and decides to call a truce when Spider-Man arrives prepared for a fight. As the two take on Peter, the fight takes a dark turn for the hero while his former partner and what remains of Mysterio find themselves facing another member of the Maker’s inner circle who has a proposal.

The Story: Hickman crafts a darkly thrilling and entertaining story in this issue. All of the story elements that have been building throughout this series come together in interesting and engaging ways and I am enjoying every moment of it. The action is fantastic and the sense of immediacy from the plot kept me on edge with each page and panel. I love the cliffhanger at the end of the issue and cannot wait to see what happens next.

The Art: Checchetto and Messina delivers stunning art throughout the issue. I love the visuals and how dynamic and dramatic the action is on every page.
