The Rundown: Edward Kane is a billionaire seeking the key to immortality at any cost.

Edward Kane is dying and his billions of dollars cannot same him from the inevitability of life. He thinks about this as he flies into a private island that he has been funding for years. On the island at the exclusive spa for the rich, Kane is shown the results of his money and their research, a possible cure for any disease.
After telling the doctor that he is volunteering to be the first test subject, he tells the doctor why he needs the cure now. After undergoing treatment, Edward Kane awakens to a new lease on life and a new younger body. Unfortunately, there are some unintended side effects that could mean devastation for the rest of the world.
The Story: Watters crafts a wonderful entry into the world of the Twilight Zone with this issue. Having loved the world created by Rob Serling since I was a kid, I was excited to see what this first issue had to offer in both tone and story and I was not disappointed. I loved the tone and pacing of this story a lot. I loved the tension and suspense and I loved the subtle nod to the original series in the first moments of the issue.
The Art: Beem creates some beautifully detailed and visually engaging art throughout the issue. I love the callback to Serling in the first few images and the visual style works perfectly with the world of the Twilight Zone.
