The Rundown: Edward comes to Daniel for help, but it might already be too late.

Edward returns to Daniel’s home and tells him that he has finally left his wife Asenath. He reveals what he believes his wife has been doing him and how he believes that she is just the conduit for another entity. One that is more powerful and wants him.
He leaves to begin fixing his life with Daniel’s help, but things take a turn when Edward disappears for days and returns to Daniel’s home acting more disturbed. Daniel is forced to put his friend in a sanatorium when things get worse, but he receives news that Daniel has made a remarkable recovery. A recovery that hints at something darker for the old friends.
The Story: Birks continues to craft a dark, thrilling and engaging story in this issue. Events and emotions are starting to ramp up and there is a wonderful sense of foreboding throughout the story bolstered by the tension in every interaction between Edward and Daniel. I am constantly impressed with the world being explored in this series and cannot wait to see where the story goes next.
The Art: Roberts crafts beautifully detailed and visually stunning art throughout the issue. The imagery brilliantly captures the dark tone and mood of the story.
