The Rundown:

Honor’s chickens have come home to roost as Smoke has made her way to Silencer’s home and Honor is going to need her husband’s help to rescue their son and get him to safety. Quietus is running interference, but Talia is convinced that the mind wipe didn’t work. A revelation that will put everyone Silencer cares about in danger.

Honor needs to save her family, end the threat of Smoke and decide whether or not she’s going to keep being a pawn of Talia’s or free herself from Leviathan once and for all.

The Story:

Dan Abnett does an amazing job of keeping this story tense and entertaining while raising both the stakes for Honor, but also for her family. The dialogue is awesome and the pace of the issue keeps the reader riveted. There is a great balance of action and drama in this issue and it continues to be entertaining to see Honor’s two worlds continue to clash. Another engaging and entertaining issue.

The Art:

V Ken Marion’s art is amazing. All of the action works and there are some intense moments throughout especially when Smoke gets the upper hand with Honor’s family. It’s a tense moment that is rendered beautifully.
