The Silencer is back and she is cleaning up the mess the Leviathan civil war left behind.

Talia has dispatched Honor to bring down a genetics lab trading in material stolen from Leviathan. Fully healed and loyal to Talia, Honor goes in guns blazing and without hesitation. Quietus, Jonah Nine and even Talia are impressed with the efficiency that Silencer exhibits during the mission and her loyalty is no longer in question.

When she ends the lab and returns to base, she is brought in by Talia for her next mission. Before she goes, Honor reveals that might not be as loyal as she seems. Keeping her family safe is motive for staying and when she finds out that she has a personal connection to the stolen genetic material, her whole world is shaken.

Back on the home front, Honor’s secrets are about to come to light when her grieving husband makes a discovery while weeding the family garden.

There is a lot going on in this issue and Dan Abnett keeps the story tight, engaging and interesting. There is some great dialogue in this story as well as amazing action. Everything is building to something interesting for Honor, especially her plans in Leviathan as well as what her husband discovers. Abnett has really crafted an interesting character in Silencer and this issue opens some really intriguing turns for the story to take and I continue to be invested in where it goes.

V Ken Marion’s art is amazing. The action in the beginning is beautifully detailed and that same attention to detail is consistent throughout the issue. A visually beautiful issue.
