A giant rampaging monster is destroying the amusement park resort that Blake and Ben are enjoying. As the creature destroys everything around them, the pair has to run for their lives. They are helped by Honor in Quietus’ body as both Quietus and Silencer do their best to stop the creature using whatever means they can. In the midst of trying to stop the rampaging creature, both mercenaries learn more about each other.

At Talia’s lair, Wishbone is revived and told to end the magic she’s using. Reluctantly, she obliges and everyone returns to his or her own bodies. As Quietus and Silencer work on their next move and how they are going to work together to bring down Talia, Honor has to deal with the fact that she needs to put her mission first and Blake receives some bad news about his missing wife.

There was something off about this issue. There seemed to be some odd change in tone with the characters and dialogue. It was like Abnett was trying to inject humor into certain moments, but it just didn’t play. In fact, considering the circumstances, it came off a little glib from characters like Blake and Honor. Having her quip at the moment people are dying just seemed uncharacteristic. Regardless of those character missteps, the issue was good and it is going to be interesting to see how Honor and Quietus deal with Talia and her minions now that Talia knows they are coming.

Zircher’s art is good in this issue. The best moments are definitely with the rampaging creature in the beginning of the issue. Those panels are beautiful. Admittedly, I am starting to miss Romita Jr and Bogdanovic’s art though.
