The Rundown: Pigeon battles a god of fire who will burn the world and everything in it to ash for his grief.

After discovering the truth, Soluna, Beatrice and the other children are on the run from the ever growing fire of her father’s rage as he believes his daughter has been killed and is going to burn the world out of grief and anger. What Rokos doesn’t realize is that Pigeon is also there to take his revenge against the god who sacrifices children for his immortality and Pigeon is not alone.
Rokos’ brother Kronius joins the fight to stop his brother by siding with Pigeon as the two battle it out across the land. Pigeon finds his sister among the wreckage and his determination to save her gives him the strength to give the god a mighty blow. Weakened and dying, Rokos appeals to his daughter who must decide what she will do next.
The Story: Remender delivers a dark, thrilling adventure in this issue. There are some great character moments, awesome action and an epic battle that builds both in suspense and stakes as it brings the characters to some new and interesting places, especially Soluna. I cannot wait to see what path she chooses.
The Art: Fiumara thrills with the big, bold and beautifully detailed art throughout this issue. It perfectly captures the tension and suspense of the story.
