The Rundown: The story of the woman hunting the Rocketfellers is revealed and her connection to the family makes things more difficult.

Roland decides that it is finally time to tell the truth about why he and his family have relocated to the 21st century. A story that will bring the family out to the woods to finally reveal the truth behind the woman that murdered his mother. A woman named Raina, who is also his sister.

In the future, Raina is a decorated war hero who falls in love with the CEO of Cronex. Willing to do anything that will protect her husband and his company, Raina goes on dangerous missions that destabilize his rivals while keeping the truth from her family, especially her brother who has concerns about the experiment he is working on for Cronex. An experiment that will cause a rift between members of the Rocketfeller family.

The Story: Tomasi crafts a thrilling, dark adventure in this issue. Taking the time to add context to the family’s situation was definitely needed and making the story personal by revealing that the main antagonist is Raina adds great drama to the story. I like being invested in the story and the characters and Peter J Tomasi does that brilliantly in this issue.

The Art: Manapul and Oum craft beautiful art throughout the issue. I love the visuals and how thrilling the action is throughout the story.
