The Rundown: The family continues to acclimate to the 21st century while Roland makes a discovery.

In the future, the people hunting for the Rocketfeller family continue to run into problems locating them in time. In the present, Roland continues to study the item that they are being hunted for. At the same time, his wife decides to take some time for herself while their daughter revisits the moment she lost her grandmother and her grandfather goes for a run.
After speaking with his brother, Roland and the family run into an issue with the power while Rachel deals with some unwanted attention from a co-worker. As the family comes back together, the item makes an interesting transformation and one of the kids’ actions could put the entire family at risk.
The Story: Tomasi continues to create an interesting and entertaining story in this issue. I like the slow, deliberate pacing of the series as we get to know and care about these characters while building up tension with both the threat from the future as well as the potential dangers in the present. The characters are constantly interesting and engaging and I appreciate their relationship dynamics a lot. I am fully invested in these characters and cannot wait for the next adventure.
The Art: Manapul delivers fantastic art throughout the story. I love the visual style of this series and how beautifully detailed both the characters and their world are.
