The Rundown: Ben goes off to take down Beyond while Peter fights off Queen Goblin.

Maxine wants Ben and Janine to return to base and she is willing to threaten to return Ben’s girlfriend to prison to get it. Ben decides to go on radio silence while the two attempt to escape and regroup after leaving Queen Goblin to terrorize the Daily Bugle. After he tells her what Beyond has been going to him, he tells her that they will never be free if he doesn’t take down the corporation once and for all. But first, Janine has an idea that will require them to get some help.

At the Daily Bugle, Peter has his hands full taking on Queen Goblin alone and not at his peak. He manages to hold his own with her long enough to get her out of the city and away from civilians, but his body is paying the price for it. After taking a full on Goblin Glare, Peter will be sent into a world of his own self-doubt. A world he will have to conquer if he has any chance of stopping Queen Goblin.

The Story: Gleason brings together some of the best Spider-Man tropes in this issue and all of them work. The battle with Queen Goblin and Peter’s internal struggle is great and in line with everything that works about the character. The dynamic between Ben and Janine continues to be interesting and the way both stories come together was thrilling.

The Art: Bagley has some wonderful, action packed art in this issue. There are some great character moments mixed in with the visual dynamic and stunning action.
