The Super Powered Fancast

As I stated in a previous article, the CW’s Arrow series tends to, like Icarus, fly a little too close to the burning sun that is Batman’s world. This seemed to be confirmed to me by the introduction of Ra’s Al Ghul and the League of Shadows as antagonists in the third season. As a comic book loyalist and Berlantiverse supporter, I have been giving Arrow another chance and I am actually pleased with the latest casting news that’s been reported.

Veteran Sci-Fi actress Lexa Doig (“Andromeda”, “V”, “Stargate SG-1”, “Continuum”) has been cast as Talia Al Ghul, daughter of the Demon’s Head himself.

Nyssa Al Ghul, played by Katrina Law was previously introduced as well but many fans were wondering whether or not they would get the chance to see Talia on the small screen. Well, Talia will be making her debut in the tenth episode of season 5. Talia has always followed her own rules and set her own agenda and it will be interesting to see why she’s in Star City.
