The Rundown: An enemy takes direct action against Steelworks and John Henry is ready.

In the wake of the attacks against Steelworks and the people close to John Henry Irons, the CEO and hero puts the building on lock down. At the same time, he continues to investigate the possible return of Lana’s powers while his newest enemy Silver Mist makes a direct assault on the building to steal the zero-point energy reactor.

After suiting up, Steel prepares to confront the thief, but his escape reveals that John Henry Irons was prepared for the attack. Unfortunately, he doesn’t know what Walker has in store for what he thinks he’s about to receive.

The Story: Dorn continues to craft an entertaining and thrilling story in this issue. The action is fantastic and the plot takes some great turns throughout. The story does a great job of singling out John Henry and his own skills, but it also does a great job of giving the supporting characters agency and purpose. The relationship between John Henry and Lana continues to be engaging and I look forward to seeing them fight together. Steelworks continues to build on its characters and conflicts brilliantly and I’m invested in this story and its characters.

The Art: Basri and Cifuentes deliver fantastic art throughout the issue. The visuals are as thrilling as the story and I love the character designs and how compelling the action is.
