The Rundown: Kirk continues his mission and Sato is hot on his trail.

It’s been years since Kirk and Sato fell out over their mission to stop the Emerald Chain. Kirk is in command of the Omega and has been using the ship and its crew to liberate worlds under the thumb of the Chain and the Tellarites are the latest to ask Kirk for help. At the same time, Sato discovers where Kirk is going to be and decides to intercept the ship to kill Kirk and Jurati.
The hunt is on after Kirk destroys an Emerald Chain base over the planet and Sato manages to intercept and disable the Omega. As Sato prepares for the kill, an unexpected betrayal happens that will force the two sides to come together if there is any chance of saving the remains of Starfleet.
The Story: Lanzing and Kelly create a thrilling, suspenseful and entertaining story in this issue. There is great action throughout the story and some awesome moments of tension between Kirk and Sato. I really enjoyed the use of the Doctor in this story and how both sides of the conflict are dealing with the reality of their positions, especially Sato and his relentless pursuit of Kirk and the Omega. There are some great dialogue moments as well and I cannot wait to see where this story goes next.
The Art: Bonilla crafts some beautifully detailed and visually exciting art throughout the issue.
