The Rundown: Sato and the remnants of the Federation make their last stand against the Emerald Chain.

The Emerald Chain has discovered the location where the remaining members of Starfleet are attempting to evacuate their remaining allies and have opened fire. With several ships down and hope dwindling, Sato is counting Kirk and Jurati to buy them enough time to get their ships behind the shield and protect them, but things are looking grim.
Valqis comes up with a brilliant plan to buy the fleet time to launch an offensive while Kirk and Jurati prepare to sacrifice themselves to complete their mission. Sato arrives to give them an alternative. One that could give the fleet the final push it needs to escape while also giving the Federation the inspiration it needs to keep going.
The Story: Lanzing and Kelly bring this story to an action packed, emotional and intense conclusion filled with great action, thrills and character moments that remind me why I love the universe of Star Trek so much. There is great intensity throughout the story and no moment is wasted as events play out with great twists and human moments. A fantastic conclusion to an epic adventure.
The Art: Bonilla crafts brilliantly detailed and beautifully emotional art throughout the issue. I love the emotion in the characters as well as the beautiful art of the action scenes.
