The Rundown: The Red Shirts fights against dangerous spies while two of them discover another threat above them.

Miller and the others are trapped on the antenna between orbital bombardment and a sniper on the ground. At the same time, the Romulan ship is waiting for their spies to get into position while Amiga discovers something about the Arkonian base. Something that could help them possibly escape.

With the strike team pinned down, Grash decides to go looking for the sniper while the team fights back. As she discovers the killer, she is forced to make a destructive sacrifice to give the others the opportunity to live. An opportunity that will see one transported onto the Romulan ship while Miller and Raad find themselves facing another dangerous adversary that’s been watching from orbit.

The Story: Cantwell continues to craft a violent, thrilling and interesting story in this issue. The story has some interesting and suspenseful layers throughout it and the complications and drama keep me engaged. I continue to find the story fun and intriguing, but the twist at the end of the issue felt a little too contrived to have the emotional punch the story was going for. It felt like an unnecessary addition.

The Art: Levens delivers stunning art throughout the issue. I love the visual style and Levens delivers a wonderful visual balance between the characters and the action.
