The Rundown: The mystery deepens as a dark threat emerges within the station.

Miles finds himself trapped on one of the holosuites and unable to escape as the creature who trapped him waits for more to arrive. At the same time, the acting Captain of the Valera is on the station to personally accuse Dax of murdering her captain. Worf sends Jadzia to her quarters while he and Odo investigate the evidence that the Valera has along with what is affecting Doctor Selar.
Jadzia wants to know what is going on and her thoughts about the victim and their connection might hold the key to why she is being accused. At the same time, Odo interrogates the acting Captain and his questions expose something dark at the heart of the investigation. Something that will lead to a series of violent clashes and more people trapped on the holosuite.
The Story: Segura crafts a dark, thrilling and entertaining story in this issue. There are some great moments with the characters throughout the story and I really love the mystery being developed in this series both in the holosuite and the murder mystery. It’s interesting to see how there are so many layers to this story and I look forward to seeing how everything connects and comes together.
The Art: Rosenlund creates some beautifully intense and stylish art throughout the issue. I love the visual style and character designs a lot.
