The Rundown: An experiment to remove constellations will have some interesting results for one person.

A group of scientists meet in the Canadian forest to conduct an experiment. An experiment that will remove a series of constellations from the sky. No one outside of the group knows why, but the world will discover the effects of the experiment.

Rana has been having dreams about the stars, but doesn’t know why. When she goes to work and discovers that she has the ability to stop time, she realizes that there might be a connection. A realization she will have to come to quickly after she is attacked by another person with powers. A person directly connected to the experiment.

The Story: Ahmed crafts an interesting and entertaining first issue. The story has a great premise and I love the world being created within it. The characters are interesting and feel grounded which helps with the otherworldly nature of the story. There are great moments of discovery within the story and I love how Rana reacts to the situation. I look forward to seeing where this story goes next.

The Art: Levens delivers some beautiful art in the issue. The visuals are beautifully detailed and have a fun, inventive and visually engaging style.
