The Rundown: Peter, Miles and Cindy find themselves in a new world as they gather with others to prevent the end of the spider-verse.

A Peter Parker from a very familiar world gets a call from Tony Stark telling him that there is a break-in at the W.E.B. facility and discovers possibly too late that he isn’t the only spider person in the world and the other ones have been infected. On 616, Peter, Miles and Cindy find themselves teamed with Morlun to take on other infected spiders including Gwen.

Arana arrives just in time to take the survivors to a world located outside of the web and Madame Web tells them what they are facing. At the same time, they meet new spiders and Morlun tells the group why he has decided to work with them. Unfortunately, one of them is infected and could give their enemy a way to find them.

The Story: Slott crafts an entertaining story in this issue. The story is getting more intense and the roster is getting bigger in interesting ways. I enjoyed the opening sequence a lot and the stakes of the bigger arc a lot. I enjoyed seeing the changes in Morlun as well and I look forward to seeing what happens next.

The Art: Bagley delivers beautifully detailed art throughout the issue. There are some great visual moments in the issue and I love the different look of the world.
