The Rundown: Space Ghost and his team take on space vampires and their king.

Space Ghost, Jan and Jace are on the run in a space station that has lost contact with the rest of the universe. They find themselves being chased by the crew who have all been turned into vampires and Space Ghost finds himself infected and turned by their vampire king as the kids manage to escape into the vents.
The Vampire King prepares his forces to take on the rest of the galaxy while the kids work to find a way to redirect sunlight back into the station and hopefully free Space Ghost. They move quickly and find themselves facing their mentor as they try to convince him that their connection as family is stronger than the vampire king’s hold on him.
The Story: Pepose creates great tension and terror throughout the issue. There is great action throughout the issue and I really love the horror elements of the story. I also really enjoy the immediacy of the action and how it builds throughout. The story has great emotional moments as well as the suspense leads to a great moment between Space Ghost and the kids.
The Art: Lau crafts some beautifully detailed and visually engaging art throughout the issue. I love the visual style and how it captures the dark tone of the story.
