The Rundown: With Deathlok hunting Conan the Barbarian, Elektra will come up with a plan to end his threat.

The small band of heroes continue to find themselves in the Hyborian Age with no way to get home. With Deathlok being the only way to get them home, Elektra decides that they need to work together to get him to a position where they can use his tech to return home and stop his hunt for Conan.

After luring Deathlok into a trap with Cloak, the team takes him away from civilians and proceed to wear down his defenses to give Conan the ability to make the killing blow. Unfortunately, their concentration on Deathlok allows Thulsa Doom to enact the next part of his plan which will require removing Conan from the battlefield.

The Story: Pepose delivers great action and adventure in this issue as the story raises the stakes for the characters, especially Conan. I love seeing how Elektra is utilized in the story and how she uses her strategic mind to give her team an advantage. I like seeing how this team starts to come together and I loved how the story progresses from blistering action to thrilling terror before its cliffhanger ending.

The Art: Mango delivers some beautifully detailed art on every page. The character designs are wonderful and the action is visually thrilling throughout.
