The Rundown: Robin leaves Lazarus Island for Gotham City and faces a difficult choice.

Robin says his goodbyes to his new friends on Lazarus Island then makes his way to Gotham City in an unexpected manner while the Al Ghul’s discuss their next steps. After his arrival in the city, Robin pays his respects to a fallen friend. Then, he is confronted by an unusual enemy and is forced to make a heartbreaking decision. Soon, he finds assistance from an unexpected source and chooses a new path. Elsewhere, Flatline is involved in a nefarious plot. Finally, Mother Soul reveals something explosive.

The Story: The evolution of Damian Wayne has been interesting to watch. He has definitely grown since the beginning of the Lazarus Tournament. He has also slowly dealt with some of the painful parts of his life. This chapter shows not only his willingness to move on from the past, but his desire to learn from those experiences. However, the narrative also sets up the potential for further heartbreak and betrayal for the Son of the Demon. It will be interesting to see how Damian is able to move forward in his life.

The Art: This visually pleasing comic uses modern comic book styling and realistic characteristics to match the tone of the story and provide an engaging reader experience. The fight scenes are impressive and interesting, and there is an attention to expression and form that is emotionally connective and captivating.
