The Rundown: Gran has a plan that could save the world, the only thing they need to do is survive.
Rose has another encounter with the Green Knight who reminds her of the battle they have at the first of the year. Bridgette finally reveals to Duncan and Rose what her plan is for ending this supernatural nightmare and much of it requires them to stay alive and get their forces ready for an unusual offensive.
At the grail castle, Elaine attempts to find her own way to end things by trying to retrieve the grail from within the castle. Unfortunately, that will require Lancelot making a dangerous trip to retrieve her wayward son Galahad. To make matters worse, a new complication threatens to upend all of their plans.
The Story: Gillen crafts a wonderful story filled with adventure, humor and tension. I love the character development in this issue and that the story takes the time to showcase their growth as individuals and as a team. I like how the characters are evolving due to their circumstances and how that evolution will change their dynamics. I cannot wait to see where this story goes next as I bask in the unpredictability of it.
The Art: Dan Mora delivers some stunning art throughout the issue. Not only do the characters continue to look amazing, but the environments are breathtaking and visually stunning.
