The Rundown: A dark truth is revealed and paints a target on Kern’s back.

The weapon used in the accountability killings is linked to an officer involved shooting years ago with Ben Kern and his training officer. A shooting that sends the city in an uproar and inflames the ire of the right wing group Kern brought down. Ire that quickly turns into a fire fight when they find Kern and try to kill him.

As more news comes out and the killer remains on the lam, Kern finds himself getting some much needed help from No/One and decides to use his new lease on life to put an end to the killings once and for all.

The Story: I continue to enjoy the mystery in this series and how interesting and rich the characters are. That being said, the story is starting to meander a little with side situations that take away from the growing mystery and affect the focus of the reader. I continue to enjoy the story and its companion podcast a lot as both create a wonderful experience for the reader.

The Art: Borges ramps up the action brilliantly in this issue. I love the attack on Kern and how visually thrilling it is throughout.
