In a recent Facebook post, Niantic announced they will begin expanding their experimental Pokemon Go tracking system beyond the current testing grounds of San Francisco, California. Niantic will now make their in-development tracking system available in parts of Arizona and into Seattle, Washington.

The success or lack thereof will be gauged by community feedback and will “make changes if necessary, and roll this feature out to more regions”.
