The Rundown: Miles, Blade and Brielle make a final stand against an ancient evil.

Miles and his new allies continue their battle against an ancient vampire king and his minions while Miles faces off against Hightail who is being turned by the creature to use her powers. After separating her from the fight to focus on him, he realizes that her enhanced metabolism might be the key to stopping the vampire’s influence on her.

As the battle rages with the vampire lord, Blade must find a way to contain him. A way that will require his daughter and Miles to create a distraction to bring the fight to an end. At the same time, another threat watches the proceedings and plans his next move.

The Story: A thrilling, entertaining and action-packed conclusion to this arc. Ziglar does a fantastic job of keeping the action moving while ramping up the suspense. I love the frenetic energy of the story and how it boldly moves from one action beat to another. Definitely a fun ride for fans of Miles and Blade.

The Art: Pratim delivers some highly detailed and thrilling art that perfectly captures the mood and tone of the story.
