Universal Pictures and Working Title are bringing a new movie to theaters that is looking to scare and thrill audiences.
Michael Fassbender (X-Men: Apocalypse) stars in the thriller The Snowman. Based on the best-selling novel by Joe Nesbo. It follows police detective Harry Hole (Fassbender) who finds a beheaded victim during the first snow of winter. As he begins to investigate the murder, he discovers that he is being followed and hunted by the killer himself, who is taunting him with each death.

The Snowman also stars Rebecca Ferguson (Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation), Val Kilmer (Song to Song), JK Simmons (Whiplash), Charlotte Gainsbourg (Independence Day: Resurgence) and James D’Arcy (Agent Carter). It is directed by Thomas Alfedson (Let the Right One in / Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy).
The Snowman will open in theaters October 20, 2017.
