After two seasons on FreeForm, Marvel’s Cloak and Dagger series has been cancelled.

The news comes as Marvel head of TV Jeph Loeb is leaving the company sometime before Thanksgiving. Loeb’s departure is said to stem from a recently announced leadership change that would put Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige in control of the television unit and Cloak and Dagger is one of the series developed by Loeb.

The series, which started Olivia Holt and Aubrey Joseph in the title roles, focused on the adventures of super powered teens working together to fight crime in New Orleans.

FreeForm released a statement saying; “We are so proud of Marvel’s Cloak & Dagger and the trailblazing stories this series told,” said the YA focused network. “We are also grateful to our incredible talent Oliva Holt and Aubrey Joseph for bringing these beloved characters to life, and showrunner Joe Pokaski for his vision. We’d like to thank our partners at Marvel Television for a wonderful two seasons and are we are hopeful that we can find another project together.”

The Disney-owned cable network has recently refocused its roster with shows like Siren, The Bold Type and Black-ish spin-off Grown-ish. Cloak and Dagger are set to appear in an upcoming episode of the HULU series Marvel’s The Runaways.
