The Rundown: Jace recalls his past as he tries to put together the pieces of his memory.

Jace has a memory of falling. A memory that will cause the woman he loves to express concern as he tells her that he needs to lean into his memories in order to piece them back together. He recalls a short memory of his childhood that quickly fades before his memories of being a thief flood his mind.
Most of his memories are rooted in working for a dangerous man known as Tezzeret in Ravnica. As they continue to steal treasure, they receive a contract to steal a dangerous item from the town guards. Barely making it out alive, the pair are then sent to another plane to find a dangerous item in Dominaria.
The Story: Conrad creates an engaging and entertaining story for both fans of Magic: The Gathering as well as newcomers. Jace is an interesting character and the journey into his memories is a compelling one. I like seeing the personal story play out as well as the views of the bigger world Jace is navigating in the story. I look forward to seeing what happens next.
The Art: Yarsky delivers beautifully detailed and visually exciting art throughout the issue. I love the visual style of this story as well as the character designs.
