The Rundown: The Maestro looks for a means of finding his enemies and two of them decide on their next engagement.

In the aftermath of the attack on Atlantis, Namor and Abomination have been transported to Latveria where a crippled Doom works on the next part of his plan. With nothing else to do, Blonsky and Namor raid the wine cellar and discuss what their lives have become in the post-apocalyptic world. At the same time, Maestro’s minister is kidnapped to come to an unexpected meeting with someone who knows who he really is.

When Maestro emerges from the depths, he has his own plan for dealing with Doom. One that will require him to return to Alchemax. Unfortunately, his search of the facility is interrupted by Abomination who takes a new approach to his fight along with Namor who returns with something that could devastate the world Maestro is trying to build.

The Story: David delivers an entertaining story in this issue. I love that there is a conversation with some of the characters about the nature of villainy in the wake of who they have become. The story has some interesting layers to it and its characters and has some great action and tension that was engaging to me as a reader.

The Art: Peralta delivers some dramatic and beautifully detailed art throughout the issue. The action was visually thrilling and the characters look great.
