Deron GenerallyIn the lead up to the release of the highly anticipated Pacific Rim: Uprising, Legendary Comics is releasing a limited series titled Pacific Rim Aftermath.
In the movie, set for release in March of 2018, John Boyega plays Jake Pentecost, son of Stacker Pentecost (played by Idris Elba in the original movie). The comic will bridge the gap between the first and second films by following Jake on a mission to discover the truth behind his father’s death. The series will also introduce former Jeager pilot and current mob enforcer Griffin Both Griffin and Jake will have to deal with the mysterious ruler of the underworld known as the Mech Czar.
Pacific Rim: Aftermath is written by Cavan Scott (Doctor Who: The Lost Dimension) with art by Richard Elson (Thor). It will be released in Digital and Print January 17, 2017.
