In the film, Bell plays a workaholic who gets left at the alter during her wedding and after a weird night of drinking, ends up taking her honeymoon cruise with her estranged father (Grammar). Check out the first trailer and let me know what you think.
When a workaholic young executive (Kristen Bell), is left at the altar, she ends up on her Caribbean honeymoon cruise with the last person she ever expected: her estranged and equally workaholic father (Kelsey Grammer). The two depart as strangers, but over the course of a few adventures, a couple of umbrella-clad cocktails and a whole lot of soul-searching, they return with a renewed appreciation for family and life.
Like Father is written, produced and directed by Laura Miller Rogen. Rogen is known for writing, producing and starring in the film For A Good Time, Call… as well as roles in series like Grey’s Anatomy and Master of None.
Like Father will premiere on Netflix August 3, 2018.
