The Rundown: In the wake of the tournament, the Justice League will have to make some changes.

The tournament is over and the Omega energy reaching across the planet begins to finally recede. As the returning heroes witness the change, the combatants return to Earth without Superman. Batman and Wonder Woman gather the League to tell them what happened and how the other combatants have been witness to prophecies that they will have to confront on their own.

When a new mission arrives, a small group of heroes heads to the city to stop a potential threat only to find that the villains there are trying to help. Batman, Wonder Woman and the Captain travel to the Phantom Zone to come up with a plan because they know they will need the help of the villains in the future and some of them will have to be offered a place in the Justice League.

The Story: Waid creates some great moments and surprises throughout the issue. I really like the concept of this new arc and what it means for the characters, especially in the wake of Superman being gone. There is some great drama at the heart of this story and I cannot wait to see where this arc goes next.

The Art: Henry creates some great art throughout the issue. I really like the character designs and the action.
