The Rundown: Diana returns injured and Zatanna tracks her down with a new mission.

As the fight with Zatarra heats up, Diana has no choice but to escape. Unfortunately, her powers are weak and Pegasus is the only one that can help her flee. As she makes her way back to her home, she thinks about her time with Aphrodite before Zatanna arrives to remove the curse from her.
After the two continue their fight, Zatanna tries to convince Wonder Woman that she comes in peace and that she needs her help. She tells Diana more about Cale and what she is doing as well as reveals that her father is on the one she’s fighting. Diana returns to the city and prepares her magic to take on Zatarra and stop him before he destroys her and everyone around them.
The Story: Thompson creates a thrilling, engaging and compelling story in this issue. I love the world of this story and how complicated all of the characters and their relationships are. Diana has some intense and interesting moments throughout the story and I love the tension between her and Zatanna. The story has a great buildup of suspense leading into a great cliffhanger.
The Art: Sherman creates beautiful art throughout the issue. I love the visual style and the character designs.
