The Rundown: The Watchtower is invaded and the League fights to keep it together.
Mr. Terrific sends out an alert to everyone on the Watchtower telling them that the parademon he was studying was an incubator for a larger force that has emerged and is attacking the structure itself and anyone on board. At the same time, a group of heroes on the station are trying to stabilize the Time Trapper before the Omega energy in him tears the station apart.
As Holt fights to stop the creatures and the others fight to save Time Trapper, Power Girl and a small group of heroes beneath the Earth fight a group of Darkseid enhanced members of the Legion whose very presence messes with their minds.
The Story: Waid creates some thrilling, tension filled moments throughout this issue. I love the breakneck speed of events and action as things go from bad to worse for all of the heroes involved. The story does a great job of showcasing Terrific as a tactical mastermind and all of the events come together to create a fantastic cliffhanger that leaves me excited to see what happens next.
The Art: Di Giandomenico crafts some fantastic art throughout the issue. I love the gorgeous details to be found throughout the pages and panels and how visually thrilling the action looks.
