Deron GenerallyJames Gunn has been pretty tight lipped about details of his Guardians of the Galaxy trilogy of films, but today he let some important information come out about when the third film will take place in the timeline of the MCU.
Many of the brain trust involved in the MCU, including writers of this summer’s Avengers Infinity War have gone to great lengths to suggest that future MCU films will take place before the infamous snap heard round the universe.

Gunn is currently writing the third film in his trilogy and the revelation that the film will take place after the events of Infinity War means that the speculation of who will be in the film and what that adventure will entail. Much of the speculation will also revolve around whether or not Zoe Saldana’s Gamora will return for the third adventure. Let the speculating begin.
