In 2008, Iron Man hit theaters and the after credits scene with Nick Fury (Samuel L Jackson) telling Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) that he was part of a bigger universe was a promise to audiences that more was to come.

The Avengers, the Guardians of the Galaxy and the rest of the heroes of the Marvel Cinematic Universe are brought together to take on the mystery of the Infinity Stones and stop the mad Titan Thanos from collecting them all for his own sinister purposes. They must face the full force of Thanos’ army including his elite Black Order in an adventure that crosses the globe and the universe itself.

Avengers Infinity War looks to be the biggest film in the history of the MCU and Marvel has released a new poster with the film’s release date.
