The Rundown: Gehenna tries to keep the kid alive and learns a dark truth.
In order to find weapons and transportation, Gehenna and the kid are at a seedy bar where the owner is willing to give her what she needs for a price. At the same time, the woman chasing Gehenna gathers her forces to hunt them down, but is apprehensive about killing the kid.
After Gehenna violently refuses the owner’s offer and makes off with weapons and a motorcycle, she and the kid are spotted and chased down where Gehenna will find herself in a violent clash with a trained killer and discover the truth about the contract on her life.
The Story: Kindlon brings this arc to an action packed and entertaining conclusion. There are some intense and engaging revelations throughout the story and I love the progression of the action and adventure. A thrilling, intense and enjoyable story that makes me excited to see where this story and the character go next given what she learns at the end of the issue.
The Art: Maurizio Rosenzweig delivers some beautifully detailed and visually compelling art throughout the story. There is a beautiful exaggeration of character features that adds to the tone of the story.
