The Rundown: Goliath and Hudson enact their plan to save Demona.
In the aftermath of the battle, Hudson and the rest of the clan gather with the magus to rescue Demona from Cullen. After enlisting the magus’ help, Hudson decides that only he and Goliath will enter the castle. A move that will bring victory at a terrible cost.
With the humans celebrating their victory and crowing a new king, the new Prince Malcolm of Wyvern decides to build a castle that will both protect his people and their Gargoyle allies while Demona is offered a chance at power.
The Story: Weisman continues to bring the reader deeper into the world of Gargoyles with a story that is filled with great action and emotion. I love how the story lays the foundation for future conflicts with the characters, especially Demona. The story not only showcases the clan and their importance, but also gives the reader more insight into the culture of the clan itself. A fantastic broadening of the Gargoyle story that every fan should read.
The Art: Moss delivers great art throughout the issue. The action is visually exciting and I love the character moments as well. The imagery is brilliantly done.
