The Rundown: Swamp Thing faces an old foe in the fight for the remains of humanity.
Swamp Thing and his family have joined a group of rebel humans who are preparing to liberate the people being held at the S.T.A.R. Fortress. As they get closer to the base, the commander consults with the man responsible for using Obisidian in his plan to black out the world and destroy the green, Jason Woodrue. Word reaches them of the impending attack and they prepare to set off the weapon as the rebels attack.
Swamp Thing and his children fight their way into the base and confront Woodrue as he begins his final assault. An assault that he hopes will do more than just destroy the green. As Swamp Thing and the rebels prepare for the weapon to be unleashed, he will have to decide how best to save humanity. A choice that will put him at odds with his family and force him to tell them the truth about their existence.
