Warner Brothers has released the final trailer for the highly anticipated film ahead of its summer release and it contains more story footage than previous clips.
In the final trailer which debuted this weekend, we are given a glimpse into Diana’s childhood, her relationship with her mother Queen Hippolyta (Connie Nielsen) and her decision to journey to man’s world. The trailer does showcase the action that fans have been clamoring for with Diana (Gal Gadot) and Steve Trevor (Chris Pine) trying to stop a war that could devastate everyone involved and reach all the way to Diana’s home on Themyscira.
Before she was Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot), she was Diana, princess of the Amazons, trained to be an unconquerable warrior. Raised on a sheltered island paradise, Diana meets an American pilot (Chris Pine) who tells her about the massive conflict that’s raging in the outside world. Convinced that she can stop the threat, Diana leaves her home for the first time. Fighting alongside men in a war to end all wars, she finally discovers her full powers and true destiny.
