The Rundown: The League has one chance to return and the remaining heroes of Earth fight to give it to them.

Jon Kent leads the remaining heroes of Earth on one final mission to prevent Pariah from bringing back his infinite Earths. A task that is harder to do with Deathstroke leading the forces against them. At the same time, the freed members of the Justice League come together to look for a way to return to their Earth before it’s too late. A task that will require some inspiration from one of their own to motivate them.

The heroes on Earth get a last minute infusion of power when Jace Fox and other heroes arrive. Unfortunately, that same power also helps Pariah with his plan. As Terrific and Jace work on a way to stop Pariah’s machine, Jon decides to buy them some time by taking on Darkseid, Doomsday and the rest of the villain alone.

The Story: Thrilling, intense and engaging. There are some really interesting character moments in the story especially with Jon. There are great moments of inspiration in the story as well and everything comes together to not only a great return of some characters, but an even more interesting twist for another.

The Art: Sampere and Sandoval deliver some great art throughout the issue. The battle scenes are visually thrilling and there are moments that perfectly capture the tension of the story itself.
