The original comic book series debuted in 1998 from Wildstorm Comics and was a huge hit. The series, which blended elements of Indiana Jones, Tomb Raider, James Bond and Charlie’s Angels followed the globe-trotting adventures of Abby Chase. In the series, Chase is recruited by a mystery organization to find a series of mystical objects located all over the world. She is teamed up with operatives Sydney Savage and Natalia Kasstle and tasked with keeping these objects out of the hands of The Hammer Syndicate.

Danger Girl is the perfect opportunity to create a team of grounded, relatable and dangerous young female characters but with humor and spectacular action,” said Jeremy Bolt of Bolt Pictures.

Campbell and Hartnell will executive produce the series and the production is currently fielding ideas from writers and directors.
