The Rundown: Artagan stands in judgment for his schemes while making his own plans.

Lord Artagan of the Morncrown finds himself in chains awaiting the judgment of powerful beings beyond the mortal plane. His most recent stunt with a group of followers and a dead whale is not helping his case.

As his demeanor and attitude continue to annoy those standing in judgment of him, Artagan works on removing his bonds and escaping. Unfortunately, his actions are witnessed and he could find himself facing a dark and torturous sentence.

The Story: A fun, engaging and entertaining tale that fans of Critical Role will enjoy. The story is immediately immersive and filled with dark humor and a wicked sense of fun. Artagan is an interesting side character filled with layers that Maggs crafts into a story that makes you want to learn more about him. I look forward to seeing where this story goes next.

The Art: Aviv Or delivers beautiful art throughout the issue. The visual style works perfectly with the tone and type of story being told and allows for some fun and wonderfully detailed moments for the reader.
