The Rundown: Catwoman and her team plot to relocate Poison Ivy.

When the Magistrate sends its forces to Alleytown to hunt down Catwoman and Poison Ivy, a group of “Masks” fight back. When the disparate group of vigilantes are overwhelmed, surprising reinforcements come to their aide.

Meanwhile, Selena teams up with an old acquaintance in an effort to transfer Ivy from her current location. Later, she and the Strays team up with the group in Alleytown. They then discuss Ivy’s link to the recent troubles in Gotham. Soon, Catwoman recruits the self appointed protectors of Alleytown for a daring mission. Later, the Wight Witch’s secret is revealed.

The Story: Ram V provides yet another well written chapter in this saga. Catwoman’s insightfulness is interesting to witness. It feels as though she is at a crossroads in her life and I appreciate that her character is able to have this very realistic level of self exploration. In terms of plot development, there are several interesting reveals that seem very promising. And the idea of a team up that includes several powerful figures is exciting. I can’t wait to see how this story plays out.

The Art: The artwork in this issue is well done and interesting. The action scenes are engaging and the tone of the story is perfectly captured.
