The Rundown: Steve Rogers and Sam Wilson team up to take down a former friend.

Bucky Barnes is a member of a global conspiracy group called the Outer Circle and he is preparing the next move in a game that spans centuries. Unfortunately this move involves bringing down both Steve Rogers and Sam Wilson.

His first moves include releasing the White Wolf after Sam brought him in and giving him access to an army from Dimension Z. An army he will unleash on the world. In order to do that he will use Peggy Carter to kidnap Steve’s son Ian. A move that will bring both Captains America together to bring him down for good.

The Story: A taut political thriller with huge stakes filled with great action and drama. The writers bring together all of the story threads they have been weaving in Sentinel of Liberty and Symbol of Truth into a story that immediately grabbed my attention and never let go. The story is thrilling throughout and is setting up some great drama between Steve, Sam and Bucky. The story has some great personal drama as well and I look forward to seeing what happens next.

The Art: Magno delivers some dark and serious art throughout the issue. The visuals are dramatic and do a great job of showcasing the mood and tone of the story.
