The Rundown: The survivors find a temporary rest, but their search for answers will bring them more danger.

The survivors find themselves in the apartment of their deceased neighbor and take the time to find a small moment of rest. Isaac knows something is still wrong and tries to keep his mom from opening some of the doors for fear of what is lurking behind them.

When some of the survivors find a hidden door and their neighbors notes on the phenomenon they are trapped within, their snooping unleashes something that Isaac will have to save them from. Something that will lead him to an unexpected return.

The Story: Lemire ramps up the suspense and terror throughout this issue. The story continues to be a compelling and thrilling ride for the reader and this issue adds more thrills and tension filled moments for every character in it. I was blown away by the progression of this story and its effect on the people trapped within this strange world. I loved the end of the issue a lot and what it possibly means for the survivors.

The Art: Sorrentino’s art is beautifully detailed and complex. The visuals and thoroughly engaging and draw you in with every terror filled moment.
