The Rundown: Hannah corners the Chimera in the aftermath of a massacre, but is she strong enough to stop them for good?

Hannah is taken back to the conference she attended. A conference that kept her safe from the events that took the people closest to her. As her thoughts bring her back to the present, Reagan tells her that the Chimera are inside the local mall. As Regan warns her that she isn’t ready to face them again, Hannah tells her she has a plan for that. At the same time, Vanessa and the others look for survivors of their latest massacre.

Reagan attempts to confront her former friends and get them to stop killing people. Unfortunately, Hannah’s distraction does not have the desired effect. As she deals with not only her loss and her guilt, Hannah opens fire on the Chimera driving them back. Unfortunately, reinforcements arrive causing Hannah and Reagan to fall back. A move that will make them both vulnerable as the Chimera and their minions give chase.

The Story: Bunn delivers great action and tension throughout this issue. I like seeing Hannah’s character evolve as well as the increased tension throughout the story. The world of this series continues to be engaging as well and I like seeing the twists and turns that thing take. Hannah’s backstory was a surprise that does a great deal to mitigate her current emotional state and it adds a great layer to the story.

The Art: Scharf delivers some fantastic visuals throughout the issue. The action is stunning and the visual pacing of the panels draws in the reader.
