The Rundown: The Avengers battle the Twilight Court for the fate of Kang the Conqueror.

After dealing with Nightmare in his realm, the Avengers awaken to find themselves facing the Twilight Court as they seek Kang the Conqueror. The Avengers take on their forces, but they are too evenly matched against their new foes.

When one of the team suggests shaking things up, the fight takes a different turn for the Court and the Avengers. Unfortunately, their mission to protect Kang becomes more dangerous when they fail to account for one of the Court’s members.

The Story: MacKay delivers some great action and adventure elements throughout the issue. While there were some moments that were predictable with the switching up during the fight, the overall story was fun, exciting and had some great thrills and banter between the characters.

The Art: Mortarino delivers some great visual thrills in the issue. The art is lively and entertaining and filled with great details.
